U are greatly missed... every single day...

on the morning of 4th January, I received a phone call, telling me my dear friend Wendy has passed on. I took a deep breath and swallowed all my tears, made sure no one could see my sorrow, and continued to work.

I tried not to cry so hard, but the tears flowed like the river... like there was no stopping for this pain... stood before your photo and felt myself shivering so hard, from the fear of accepting the truth...

there you lied motionlessly... and yet the memories of your smiles seemed like it was only yesterday, that we joked and laughed at each other...

I have never said, never said that I loved you greatly my dear friend, never said that I cherished your friendship from the bottom of my heart... never said I was mad at you because I truly cared...

thank you for the memories, thank you for the friendship, you are the only you that will always live inside my heart ^^

CNY Gathering 2009

This was actually an event that gave me hope and courage to continue organizing our yearly gathering. Yes, I was amazed by the number of people who actually showed up at QE II this year, especially those whom I have not met with since we graduated, such as Ch'ng Ley Huey, Low Kar Mei, etc...

Of course there were some of those who couldn't make it due to reasons like pregnancy, wedding to attend, etc... but all and all, I was glad that the usual companies did make it, thanks to Lay Wooi, Careena, Wan Ching, Hooi Fen, and those who helped passed the message around. Big applause!!

As for those who didn't make it, here are some pictures...

Everybody was busy catching up, taking pictures, more catching up... blah blah blah... more pictures... snap snap snap... it was a great night that went very quick... miss u all :)

Final notice

Gong Xi Fa Cai!!!

First of all, sorry for not updating the venue of the gathering here, because... as some of you may have known that I spent a few days in the hospital, but I'm all well now.

After a bit of discussion, QE II has been chosen as the place for our event. Some people may still find it a not-so-good choice, perhaps due to the location which is a bit far from home. Or maybe its because of the ambience that may not suit one's lifestyle.

I sincerely hope that more people can make it this year, for the sake of catching up with the old friends. I understand that some of you may fear that after all these years, there might not be any common topic left between you and your old buddies, but gathering is meant to be the time to update your friends and to recall the good old days.

So please, I urge you to try your very best to come share your joy with us!!!

SEE YOU THERE... :D

Date date date...

I have a feeling everyone was getting really busy last year with their weddings and kids, yadda yadda yadda... hence no one bother to get involve in this boring issue about gathering, some of them have even stop blogging.

After a little consideration, the date has been set on 30/01/2009 (Friday) for this year's CNY gathering.

Well the venue is kinda another issue because I don't have any idea about any cool places for a nice hangout, so we'll talk about that when I talk to more people :)

CNY Gathering 2009

So time flies when you're having a good time, and it sort of flies quicker and harder with the increase of your age, no kidding, it feels a tornado now!

It has come the time of the year when we start discussing (or arguing, or asking questions) about the venue, date and time of our next gathering. Someone once told me not to think too much about this, just decide among the few people who always turn up for the gathering (and by that I meant people I've had the gathering with every single year since we left school) then pass the message around and see who shows up.

I thought about it,then still went ahead and start a discussion session in Friendster group to gather ideas from a few others. Of course the actual idea didn't materialise last year, because I gave up at the end.

I reckon this year I'll do the same thing, but with a twist. I'll take every ideas into consideration, then announce the venue, time & date that the majority agrees upon. Then go into hiding to avoid those who object, kinda like living in denial, and see what happens.

As for now, anyone who is reading this blog (I meant the girls from CDK year 98) please pass the message around so that the others who has no knowledge of the existence of this blog or who don't do internet (although I really don't think there's not that many of us that don't) get to know about this and voice their thought.

You can either leave a comment here or get me via Facebook or Friendster. Adios!

Another year gone by...

Hello friends, its been a long while since we (supposed to be me and another person) updated this ultra-boring blog.

To those who still drop by occasionally to check for update: a million thanks & cheers!!

For those who already have a Facebook account, I assumed many informations have been exchanged. I reckon the next thing I'll do is to go though our year book and start gathering information of every single person in it, alphabetically, then update this dying blog.

If anyone has a problem with this idea, or worry that their privacy maybe invaded (all I'm gonna do is probably say: she's married with 3 kids & lives in KL, sort of stuff), or wish to be excluded from this 'activity', please leave a message here.

Ciao & take care :)

More Gathering updates...

Geez... it's July and I'm posting a February event... at least its this year's...
Due to some kinda misunderstanding, a lot of people thought the gathering was called off, it actually happened in another location, New World Park. And these are the people who attended:

Gathering Updates

Dear girls, my sincere apology for being so lazy, correction: extremely lazy!!

The pictures are from our 2007 gathering at Cubar, Gurney Drive during CNY. It seemed like someone came up with the idea of group photos of each class as according to respective colours during our years in primary school:-

from RED class: Elaine, Serena & Cassandra

from BLUE class: Anne & Isabel

from YELLOW class: Cellia, Rosemary, Hooi Fen & Jean

* I was rather puzzled why was Lay Wooi not in the same picture with the Yellow class girls?!!

from GREEN class: Kah Bee, Bee Sim, Agnes, Mandy, Nover, Louise & Sheila

from PURPLE class: Jovyn, Su Mei & Sam

A stroll down Memory Lane

Of course we are NOT talking about Lorong Memori, duh!? It's been a long time since our last post, and we have very good 'excuses'... Seriously girls, we NEED those pictures, pictures of our good (or some said s***-y) old days. Honestly, if I were to put up all the pictures I have, then it's gonna be ME all over the place, which sucks... Please, please send me some of those pictures, your precious ones, so that we all can see your nerdy faces back then (I was one too, swear I was)

Class of 5 Sc B looking really happy (coz it's finally graduation)

from the photo on top, i hope it helps to recap, and you should be able to identify who is kah bee and who is yee chien...after all we are not that similar in anyway..........only thing is we both staying in KL, hang out together a lot.....

Ok, please welcome our lovely:

Miss Chan Miee, currently in Penang & Miss Chew Joann, currently in Singapore.

and Teng... Teng... Teng... Teng......Ladies and gentlemen..............pls welcome Miss Tan Aunnie........

10th Year Anniversary

We have an announcement to make:

2008 will mark the 10th year of our graduation, therefore there has been a plan of an awesome reunion gathering for those who have graduated with us, the Monkey Girls (and a few Chicken Girls) of S.M.K Convent Datuk Keramat, Penang.

We don't care whether YOU are in Penang, KL, Singapore or somewhere further (in some countries that we didn't study in geography class last time) we hope that you can make it for the gathering. The reason we are telling everybody now is because we know most of us are busy with our lives, so it will be impossible to get everyone together in short notice, especially those abroad (a bit jealous with that)

And 1 more thing to say: for those who have any pictures of the good old days, that you have taken with your best pals in school, please do send us a soft copy, so that we can make this blogspot more interesting.

YES we promise you that the party will be fun (or at least you can let your friends entertain you) and so will be for the blogspot. So start contacting us:
(But we would like to remind you, the addresses below are STRICTLY for contact purposes, please DO NOT send us mails that contains nasty viruses, ie forwarded mails)

**FOR PRIVACY REASON THE EMAILS HAVE TO BE REMOVED**

Please tell this to all the other people in your contact lists, the more the merrier. We look forward to hear from YOU very very soon.
